The Mark Hotel’s Sailboat experience makes its highly anticipated return to the high seas. The 70-foot Herreshoff Sailboat, one of the last in existence, can accommodate up to 25 guests and is available for private charter and ticketed experiences, starting May 24, 2024. This one-of-a-kind luxury nautical experience sets sail from Tribeca’s North Cove Marina for a two-hour journey southward into the iconic New York Harbor, with a bespoke menu prepared by either Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten or Caviar Kaspia at The Mark.

New York’s most boldly lavish hotel, is the first hotel in the country to offer customized, revolutionary N+ Mercedes-Benz Formula E Team e-bikes for guests to enjoy. The Mark is the perfect departure point for a joyride through Manhattan, offering an active and eco-friendly way for visitors to see and explore the city. In addition to this unique experience, The Mark is providing a sophisticated fleet of custom-made bicycles available exclusively for guests of the hotel. Manufactured by Republic Bike, the bicycles incorporate the hotel’s signature design elements including a striped chain case and The Mark branding. Each bicycle comes complete with a signature black helmet, basket and lock.
The Mark’s ‘Picnic in the Park’ offers a perfectly curated picnic prepared by celebrated chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Alongside a delicious menu, the gourmet basket includes all your picnic essentials – blanket, cutlery and condiments during the summer months.

The Mark Haute Dog Cart
Get ‘it while it’s haute!
The Mark’s seasonal hot dog stand, lavishly adorned with the iconic Jacques Grange black-and-white stripes, is serving Jean-Georges’ gourmet organic chicken and grass-fed beef hot dogs exclusively for guests of the hotel and neighborhood friends. Hot dogs are $6 each and are served with special Kimchi relish and your favorite condiments – available all season long.
The Mark Haute Dog Cart is available daily from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (weather permitting).

Jacques Grange Design
A grand hotel requires a grand vision.
Celebrated as one of the greatest interior designers of our time, The Mark turned to French visionary, Jacques Grange, to reimagine the hotels’ design. With a list of projects that traverse the world’s most vibrant cities and a client roster that ranges from Yves Saint Laurent to the Princess of Monaco, Grange’s masterful ability to harmonize the timeless with the contemporary became the foundation for The Mark’s boldly lavish style.
Unleashing the full range of his talents, The Mark’s public spaces both surprise and delight while each room in the hotel perfectly marries high-visual style with uncluttered comfort. In addition to selecting and designing custom furnishings, he collaborated with the Parisian antiquaire, Pierre Passebon, to commission a host of objets d’art, furniture and lighting fixtures, specially crafted for the hotel by renowned artists and artisans, including Ron Arad, Vladimir Kagan, Mattia Bonetti, Paul Mathieu, Eric Schmitt, Rachel Howard, Todd Eberle, Karl Lagerfeld, among others.

John Lobb Bootmaker, founded in 1866, manufactures an exclusive range of bespoke and ready-to-wear shoes for men as well as essential shoe care products. At The Mark, we are proud to have a number of butlers in house who are John Lobb certified shoe polishers. As part of our service our guests can choose to avail of a complimentary overnight shoeshine or an in-chair-shine in which our guests shoes will be cared for, pampered and glazed, applying the highest John Lobb expertise. The John Lobb Kiosk is located on the mezzanine level and is available Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM.

The scent of The Mark
Master perfumer, Frédéric Malle created the “Jurassic Flower” fragrance as the custom scent of The Mark. The scent can be found lingering throughout the hallways of the hotel, while candles from Malle’s collection are also available via Le Shop.

Assouline
Celebrated French publishing house, Assouline, has New York City’s most glamorous coffee table bookshop housed within The Mark! Inside, guests can discover a world of art, fashion, and lifestyle. As the librarians of luxury, Assouline offers our guests and neighbors the opportunity to take home the chicest of souvenirs or the perfect addition to their coffee table collection.
The Assouline Coffee Table Bookshop is located just steps away from The Mark’s front door and can be accessed from 77th Street. The store is open Thursday through Monday and can be reached at (212) 606-3155.
Assouline Coffee Table Bookshop is located outside the hotel. It has one entrance, which is 68”. There is an unobstructed route to Assouline from the exterior of the building. From the registration desk, rooms and suites, guests can exit the building and enter from the exterior entrance.

The Mark offers eco-friendly transportation with Bespoke Pedicabs and Bikes
All guest rooms and public areas in The Mark are fitted with LED lights, which consume less power per unit of light emitted
All bathrooms in The Mark Hotel are equipped with heated towel racks to encourage guests to use their towels more than once and conserve water and energy
All rooms in The Mark are supplied with reminder cards to encourage guests to opt-out of daily linen and towel washing services in order to conserve water and energy
Every room in The Mark is equipped with intelligent thermostats which are also remotely operable from the front desk, engineering offices and online through our BMS system
The Mark is equipped with a highly energy efficient HVAC boiler/chiller combination system where waste energy from the cooling cycle is used for the hot water systems leading to considerable energy savings as well as reducing the amount of machinery
The Mark HVAC system uses clean Natural Gas
The Mark mechanical systems only use variable speed pumps which greatly reduces the amount of usage of the pumps
The Mark uses energy saving hot water heaters with lead and lag controls aligned with the actual usage
Every lavatory in The Mark is equipped with water-saving dual flush
The Mark skating rink by Glice is a synthetic alternative to the conventional ice rink that uses large amounts of water and energy
