Accessibility Statement

The Mark Hotel is in compliance with the ADA according to the pre-1991 construction statutes of the ADA (Department of Justice ADA Title III Regulation 28 CFR Part 36, 1991). We invite guests of all abilities to come and experience our unique style of luxury.

The building main entrance door width is 72” wide. There is a flat, unobstructed route to the registration desk.

The registration desk has an accessible surface on the side. Guests who use wheelchairs are also attended by staff who comes around the desk.

Rooms and suites can be reached via an unobstructed route from the registration desk, by taking the elevator.

The elevator is accessible, with a 32” door, and has braille instructions. The highest elevator buttons are 47” from the floor.

The property has 6 ADA compliant rooms with 35.5” doors, 32” bathroom doors and roll-in showers. These rooms are held for guests who use wheelchairs.

All other rooms and suites also have 35.5” doors and 32” bathroom doors. Please note that unless specified, the standard rooms and suites do not have any additional accessible features. You will find additional information under each room and suite description.

The Mark Hotel has visual smoke detectors for the hearing impaired. Our staff is available to assist the sight impaired.

The Mark Restaurant has two entrances: a main entrance which is 74” wide, and a second entrance which is 75” wide. There is an unobstructed route to the Mark Restaurant from the registration desk as well as the rooms and suites via the accessible elevator.

The Mark Bar has three entrances: a main entrance which is 75” wide, and two additional entrances, which are 74” and 68” respectively. There is an unobstructed route to the Mark Bar from the registration desk as well as the rooms and suites via the accessible elevator.

The Meeting Room has one entrance, which is 35.5” wide. There is an unobstructed route to the Meeting Room from the registration desk as well as the rooms and suites via the accessible elevator.

The Madison Room, used for private events, has one entrance, which is 35.5” wide. There is an unobstructed route to the Madison Room from the registration desk as well as the rooms and suites via the accessible elevator.

The John Lobb Shoeshine Kiosk is located on the second floor. There is an unobstructed route to the Shoeshine Kiosk from the registration desk as well as the rooms and suites via the accessible elevator.

The Fitness Center is located on the second floor. It has one entrance, which is 36” wide. There is an unobstructed route to the Fitness Center from the registration desk as well as the rooms and suites via the accessible elevator.

The Frédéric Fekkai Hair Salon is located on the second floor. It has one entrance, which is 36”. There is an unobstructed route to the hair salon from the registration desk as well as the rooms and suites via the accessible elevator.

Assouline Coffee Table Bookshop is located outside the hotel. It has one entrance, which is 68” wide. There is an unobstructed route to Assouline from the exterior of the building. From the registration desk, rooms and suites, guests can exit the building and enter from the exterior entrance.
