Anne and Vincent Corbiere

Anne and Vincent Corbière exemplify the marriage of two great crafts into one fine art. Both were trained in the venerable French guild tradition: he as a guitar maker, and she as a textile designer. Both began their careers with extraordinary opportunities: Vincent working with the pre-eminent designer Jacques Grange, and Anne producing brilliantly colored fabrics for couturier Christian Lacroix. Working together since 1981, they’ve spent the past decade combining their artisanal skills to make singular and exceptional handcrafted furniture. Acclaimed and renowned as a design team, their collaborative work appears in gallery shows and high-profile commissions.
