Caviar Kaspia, the storied Parisian institution, has opened at The Mark, the Upper East Side’s most boldly lavish hotel. The restaurant and caviar boutique, designed by celebrated interior designer Jacques Grange, embodies the DNA of the famously chic Parisian restaurant, a celebrity favorite since it first opened in 1927, with the same inviting atmosphere. In harmony with The Mark Hotel itself, Caviar Kaspia evokes old world elegance and comfort with Parisian flavor, yet is tailored to New York, featuring the iconic Caviar Kaspia blue tablecloths, emerald green mohair banquettes, wood paneled walls, a sculptural Belgian Black marble bar, with warm ambient lighting by L’Observatoire International.
Caviar Kaspia at The Mark celebrates the “Art of Caviar” by offering an extensive menu that includes the house’s cult favorite twice-baked potato topped with caviar, blinis with smoked salmon, bottarga, vegetarian caviar made from liquified and spherized truffle, eggs with caviar, pasta with caviar, and more. Swarovski at The Mark
A world of crystallized magic has come to New York City this holiday season. The Mark, New York’s most boldly lavish hotel, has collaborated with Swarovski, the Austrian crystal house, to transform its façade with a glittering display of crystal decorations. Inspired by the holiday season’s favorite cookie: festive gingerbread, and embellished with classical holiday trimmings like giant nutcrackers, candy canes, ribbons, and a jolly Saint Nick, the Swarovski display at The Mark is one of a kind.
The spectacular façade was built and installed over a week and is made from millions of toffee-colored Swarovski Crystals, with a frosting and whipped cream roof of hand-sculpted, and crystal-dusted fiberglass. Giant candy canes, and a spectacular emerald-colored bow frame the entrance to The Mark while giant uniformed nutcrackers stand guard. The façade will sparkle to life with tons of Swarovski crystals from Austria, hand applied by expert artisans.
The festive theme continues in the hotel lobby with a glittering Christmas Tree adorned with crystal ornaments, including gingerbread men, rocking horses, nutcrackers, stars, and candy canes, as well as The Mark Hotel itself, reimagined in gingerbread style.

NO VACANYCY
Introducing NO VACANYCY at The Mark, a popup neon light installation by acclaimed artist Warren Neidich on the corner façade of 77th Street and Madison Avenue.
The 20-ft tall, animated sculpture will flash an anagrammatic phrase of NO VACANCY and NYC, a celebration of the city being back in action and a cinematic symbol of New York City’s resiliency.

The Mark Sailboat Returns!
Now in its seventh year, The Mark Hotel’s sailboat experience makes its highly anticipated return to the high seas. The 70-foot Herreshoff Sailboat, one of the last in existence, can accommodate up to 25 guests and is available for private charter and ticketed experiences, starting May 24, 2024. This one-of-a-kind luxury nautical experience sets sail from Tribeca’s North Cove Marina for a two-hour journey southward into the iconic New York Harbor, with cocktails and a bespoke menu prepared by either Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten or Caviar Kaspia at The Mark.
